Fashion Flashbacks is
a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting and preserving fashion
history between 1960 - 1979. The group is coordinated by Lanajean Vecchione but also
consists of volunteer artists, fashion design students, and avid
collectors.
Our long term goal is to self publish a book, which is now in progress.
In the meantime, we have held art exhibits, fashion shows, and coordinated
fashion photo shoots.
Our latest project, a subscription 'zine dedicated to 60s
and 70s style, will help fund future programs while educating
and involving others.
Our programs are not-for-profit and exist to entertain and
educate those who remember retro clothes and enjoy them today.
Our only reward is to do what we love while meeting others who
share our passion. It's exciting to create nostalgia and make
our mark as the first vintage organization dedicated to sixties
and seventies style. Keep and eye on this space for future events
